十六年只做一 item 事
MIDHILL started in 2008 as a small workshop in Foshan — the furniture manufacturing heartland of southern China. Back then we were three people, a rented corner of a factory floor, and a stubborn idea: build furniture the slow way, with real joinery and honest materials.
Sixteen years later the workshop is bigger, but the way we work has not changed much. Frames are still cut and assembled by hand. Wood is still kiln-dried in-house so it will not twist two winters from now. Leather is still selected piece by piece, not bought by the container and sorted later.
You will find solid-wood frames, full-grain and top-grain leathers, high-resilience foam, and finishes that can be repaired rather than replaced. What you will not find is particle board dressed up as "engineered hardwood", or a sofa that looks wonderful for eighteen months.
Every product page lists real dimensions in centimetres, real material composition and a realistic lead time. If something is out of stock, we say so.
In 2018 we opened a showroom in Lecong, next to the Foshan furniture district, so customers can sit on a sofa before committing to it. If you are ever in the region, come by — there is always tea.
